Preschool

Our youngest students, ages 1 to 5, grow in a knowledge- and skills-based learning environment, while also developing socio-emotional and interpersonal life skills through the Early Years program.

Our curriculum

Our youngest students begin their learning journey with the Early Years program and Learning.First™, exploring different learning experiences through small-group collaborative activities that help them apply knowledge to real-world situations.

Language Arts

Learning letters and numbers

Children develop foundational English literacy skills as they explore the alphabet, letter sounds, and phonics. Activities include identifying letters in their environment, matching spoken words to written words, distinguishing between letters and numbers, and using new vocabulary in context.

Through the learning platform, students practice initial sounds and rhymes in stories, progressing from simple letter recognition to an early understanding of how words are read.

Language Arts

Mathematics

Developing logical thinking

Math learning is hands-on and integrated into daily routines, with a focus on number recognition, value, and formation from 0 to 10. Children explore concepts such as comparing quantities, measuring length, height, and size, sorting, sequencing, spatial awareness, and creating patterns with age-appropriate materials.

Activities include sorting by attributes, creating and describing shapes, and developing an understanding of basic mathematical concepts.

Mathematics

Science

Exploring through experimentation

Children explore the world around them through inquiry-based activities. They investigate colors, the human body, the senses, plants, animals, weather, and the seasons.

Experiments include mixing colors, observing changes in weather, and exploring materials to begin understanding the states of matter.

Science

Natural and Social Environment

Understanding the real world

Children develop self-awareness and deepen their understanding of family and community, building a strong sense of identity and belonging. Topics include personal growth, emotions, cultural traditions, community helpers, rules, and responsibilities.

Students also learn about holidays from around the world and begin to distinguish between weather and climate. Through stories and meaningful projects, they cultivate social awareness, empathy, and an understanding of their place in the world.

Natural and Social Environment

Art

Forming little artists

Creativity comes to life through artistic activities that encourage self-expression as children experiment with a variety of materials and techniques. High-impact projects include handprints, keepsakes, color mixing, seasonal crafts, cultural celebrations, shape comparison, and themed activities for holidays and special events.

Through drawing, painting, and crafts, children develop fine motor skills, visuospatial awareness, and an appreciation for artistic diversity, while connecting art with personal and cultural identity.

Art

Physical Education

Exercising the body through movement

Children strengthen gross motor skills through a wide variety of playful activities on the court, the playground, and in outdoor spaces. Obstacle courses, dance, and creative movement activities support coordination, balance, confidence, and physical development.

Outdoor play gives students the space to move, explore, and build active, healthy habits that support lifelong wellbeing.
