In 1983, La Moderna was born with the aim of offering a quality education based on values, innovation and commitment to the integral development of the student.

Since its beginnings with the construction of the CELM building, the center has positioned itself as a benchmark institution, laying the foundations of a solid educational model oriented towards academic excellence and human formation.

The inauguration of the campus in Samborondón marked a key step in the growth of the school. This new space allowed the facilities to be improved, more educational opportunities to be offered, and a modern and suitable environment for learning to be consolidated, reinforcing the commitment to quality and the academic development of students.

The first graduating class represented a fundamental milestone in the history of La Moderna.

The creation of the Celmito Preschool level meant the extension of the educational project towards the early stages of training.

The Ministry of Education granted La Moderna the recognition of Educational Merit in its highest category.

The incorporation of the Universidad Espíritu Santo (UEES) as an institutional promoter marked the beginning of a new stage.

A general redesign of the centre was carried out, modernising its academic and organisational structure to adapt to current educational demands and strengthen its future projection.
