Communicating in English with other ISP students and peers is a valuable way to meet new people and practise fluency. While this can sometimes be a challenge, it is also an opportunity to improve language skills, build self-confidence, and develop cultural awareness. This programme was first launched in May 2020, due to the postponement of new international learning opportunities caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. It gave our students the opportunity to reach beyond their own school community and meet other ISP students around the world. The programme offers a unique international and cultural learning experience in a safe and secure online environment. It has been highly successful in terms of popularity and in achieving its key outcomes: learning more about different cultures, developing language skills, and gaining a better understanding of students’ own strengths and areas for improvement.
