Summer Camp in London

Learning English, exploring and experiencing global opportunities

Rafaela, Benjamín, Roberto and Luis are representing La Moderna at the University of East London Summer Camp, an international experience that combines learning, culture and fun alongside students from different countries across the ISP Schools network.

During these weeks, our students are not only improving their English in a high-quality academic environment, but also exploring some of the United Kingdom’s most iconic places.

A journey full of experiences

Since their arrival at the Docklands campus, each day has brought a new adventure:

• Day 1: Walk around St Paul’s Cathedral and integration activities on campus.
• Day 2: Visit to the Maritime Museum, English classes and free time at the mall.
• Day 3: Visit to the Science Museum and disco night to end the day with music and fun.
• Day 4: Visit to Piccadilly, journey by underground and afternoon shopping at the mall.
• Day 5: Full-day excursion to Cambridge.
• Day 6: Special integration day with the international game Capture the Flag.
• Day 7: River Thames tour, walk around nearby landmarks and English classes.
• Day 8: Visit to the iconic Arsenal Stadium and a ride on the London Eye.

Each moment has been an opportunity to learn, connect with other cultures and strengthen global skills such as communication, autonomy and collaboration.

This journey will not only remain in their memories, but will also be part of their development as global citizens.
